Part-Time Office Assistant/Academic Affairs Systems McCurtain County Branch Campus

This is a temporary part-time position that will be on the McCurtain County Branch Campus. This position reports to the Academic Advisor/Counselor/Coordinator and supports the academic affairs operations of the McCurtain County Branch Campus. This position is responsible for performing office administration duties. While the position is funded through Southeastern Oklahoma State University, the individual works closely with other state college and university personnel in accomplishing administrative tasks for the campus.

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Provides quality customer service to prospective students and their families as they enter the office or via telephone; coordinates communications with faculty; maintains current and potential student files; schedules appointments and coordinates office activities; distributes information by telephone, photocopy or electronic mail; other duties as assigned.

Required: High school diploma (or GED) and office experience. Proficient word processing skills, knowledge and use of Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel & PowerPoint), and good typing skills. Also, requires persistent attention to details, very good interpersonal and communications skills and execution of responsibilities with considerable initiative and minimum direct supervision. Must be eligible to work in the U.S.
